"The Intern"

Firstly, let me confirm that I have not been compensated in any way for this movie review.  As always this is my blissful opinion and my opinion only.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of the movie "The Intern" since I saw the first trailer on TV weeks ago.

I knew I would see it if only because it has a couple of my favorites.  And who would have ever guessed they would be in a movie together.  Robert DeNiro & Anne Hathaway!

Recently, I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with my husband and he was kind enough to accompany me to this movie.  I enjoyed every second of it and I think he would agree.

I doubt it wins any awards but it is definitely a comfortable way to spend an hour or so.  It will make you laugh and even feel for the actors.

I walked away thinking I would love to have the opportunity to work in an environment similar to the one portrayed in this movie. Teamwork, creativity and fast-pace! Being a female in what seems like a man's world, I can somewhat relate to Anne's character. It is terribly hard to find a comfortable mix of home and work when you are forced to be a working mom. There is always the guilt of what you are missing with your family.

In regards to the primary point of the storyline, Senior Interns, I truly hope we never take for granted the experience of our elders.

Things change but experience always adds wisdom!

Go watch it or wait until it comes out on DVD.  Either way I guarantee you won't regret the time spent.

    1. It was. One of the best light movies I've seen in a while.
